Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that support our scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure engineering, infrastructure as code (IaC), and containerization technologies. Responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key tasks and objectives:

• Design and Implementation: Create and manage cloud infrastructure solutions that support scalable and high-performance applications. This includes selecting appropriate cloud services and architectures to meet project requirements.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools. Ensure that infrastructure deployments are repeatable, consistent, and version-controlled.
• Containerization: Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. This involves creating and managing container images, orchestrating container deployments, and ensuring that applications run smoothly in a containerized environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software development teams to design cloud-native applications. Ensure proper integration with cloud infrastructure and provide guidance on best practices for cloud architecture.
• Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance. Analyze usage patterns and recommend adjustments to resource allocation.
• Monitoring and Logging: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance. Utilize tools to track system health and respond to incidents proactively.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure by following industry best practices. Implement security measures to protect data and applications in the cloud.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process. Participate in incident management and root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills:

Must-Have Skills

• Cloud Infrastructure Engineering: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions. Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services is essential.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong expertise in using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools. Ability to write and manage infrastructure code that is modular, reusable, and version-controlled.
• Containerization Technologies: In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes. Experience in deploying and managing containerized applications in production environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Programming Skills in C# : Familiarity with C# programming language for developing cloud-native applications or automation scripts. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Python Scripting: Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks. Ability to write scripts for cloud resource management, data processing, or system monitoring.
