Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Talent Placement Manager in our mission to connect exceptional talent with leading client engagements. In this pivotal role, your primary responsibility will be to strategically match top IT talent with client work requirements, working alongside and in collaboration with talent sourcing and delivery success teams. Working closely with our clients, you will develop customized talent placement strategies and be responsible for ensuring the ideal match between talent and opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess superior communication skills, be proactive and detail oriented, have experience in IT services delivery, have previous hands-on experience working with tech teams as a Manager / Scrum Master and fully involved with the complete software development life cycle, general understanding / proficiency in software development, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Talent Placement Fulfillment
- Ownership and accountability over the successful placement of a resource to an open placement.
- Execute and manage the end-to-end talent placement fulfillment process.
- Take ownership and be accountable for ensuring all open placement priorities are addressed with current capacity.
- Design sourcing strategies alongside Director of Placements and Fulfillment, Director of Technical Assessment, and Customer Success Managers to ensure that all priorities are met efficiently and effectively within the available capacity.
- Quarterback communications and activities among client and internal delivery team members.
- Set and communicate sourcing priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance recruitment processes and outcomes.
Candidate Assessment and Preparation
- Evaluate pre-screened / vetted candidate profiles (CVs, portfolios, technical and fit assessments) to determine suitability for client opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the sourcing team for continuous optimization of candidate matching.
- Prepare and deliver candidate profiles and assessments for presentation to the client.
- Prepare candidates for client interviews.
- Maintain and/or update detailed records of candidate status, profiles, skills, and preferences, etc. in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Client Engagement and Requirements Analysis
- When needed, collaborate with client technical hiring managers, CSMs and stakeholders to understand project requirements, job descriptions, and delivery timelines and expectations.
- Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to identify emerging talent trends and opportunities.
- Work with both internal and client stakeholders to build optimal team configurations based on work requirements.
Talent Matching and Placement
- Work with recruitment and re-allocation teams to identify suitable candidates for client projects.
- Strategically match candidates to client opportunities based on skills, experience, project requirements, and cultural fit.
- Manage placement coordination team for scheduling candidate interviews, assessments, and end to end placement process (from initial strategy through Offer Accepted by the Candidate).
Relationship Management
- Provide regular updates and feedback to candidates regarding their qualification status or potential opportunities.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by clients (hand in hand with CSM) or candidates in a timely and professional manner.
Performance Optimization
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in talent matching and placement procedures.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IT talent acquisition to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, is crucial for engaging with clients and candidates alike. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for building relationships and fostering collaboration.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities are required to manage multiple placements simultaneously, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and deadlines are met.
- IT Talent Acquisition Experience: A proven track record in IT talent acquisition is essential. Candidates should have experience in sourcing, assessing, and placing IT professionals in various roles.
- Recruitment Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate engagement techniques, and compliance with employment laws, is necessary to ensure effective talent placement.
- Candidate Assessment Methodologies: Familiarity with various candidate assessment methodologies, including behavioral interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks, is required to evaluate candidates effectively.
- Proficiency in Recruitment Software: Candidates must be proficient in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline the hiring process and maintain accurate records.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience Leading Teams: While not mandatory, experience in leading and mentoring recruitment teams can be beneficial for fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
