Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our New API pods team. This role is pivotal in driving Agile practices and facilitating the Scrum process to ensure the successful delivery of innovative REST API bridges on Azure. The Scrum Master will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps to foster collaboration, transparency, and alignment throughout the product lifecycle. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead Agile transformation within a cutting-edge cloud-native environment, leveraging modern API design and microservices architecture to deliver impactful business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the Scrum process and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to define clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Drive prioritization of the product backlog based on business impact, technical feasibility, and risk assessment.
• Foster communication across cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Oversee the design and implementation of REST API bridges on Azure, ensuring seamless interoperability during the migration.
• Monitor project progress, resolve blockers, and facilitate timely delivery of features.
• Define success metrics and KPIs for the Scrum team’s performance and project outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends in Agile methodologies, API design, cloud-native architectures, and Azure services.
• Support the product lifecycle from ideation through deployment and iteration, ensuring continuous improvement.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role, preferably in software modernization projects.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
• Experience working with .NET frameworks and Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with API management platforms, API gateways, and microservices architecture.
• Strong technical background to engage with engineers on architectural decisions.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Certification in Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, etc.) is a plus.
