Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Back-End Developer to join our team and help build robust, user-focused applications. This role emphasizes heavy API development and contributions to customer-facing applications, enabling actionable customer insights in healthcare. The ideal candidate is experienced with Node.js, NEST.js, and back-end infrastructure, with exposure to Python, Azure DevOps, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize back-end services and APIs using Node.js and NEST.js, adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product teams, and UX designers to deliver seamless customer-facing applications that enhance user experience.
- Create scalable, high-performance systems that support customer insights and personalization features, ensuring a responsive and engaging user interface.
- Implement and manage data pipelines for insights and analytics using modern back-end technologies, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure robust API design and implementation for cross-platform and cross-service compatibility, enhancing system interoperability.
- Contribute to DevOps workflows, including CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain high service availability.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional back-end development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, with extensive experience in API development.
- Familiarity with NEST.js or a willingness to learn (similar structure to React).
- Proven experience in building and maintaining customer-facing or user-focused applications.
- Solid understanding of database design and management (SQL or NoSQL), with hands-on experience in database technologies
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Python for creating services using FastAPI.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and version control.
- Exposure to frontend technologies like Angular and TypeScript, enhancing collaboration with front-end teams.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for deploying applications in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with tools and systems for customer insights and analytics, contributing to data-driven product enhancements.
