Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support IT integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This role is crucial for understanding and documenting the business processes and systems currently in use at acquired companies, with the goal of facilitating seamless system integration and retirement planning. Responsibilities
As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the M&A integration process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Interviews: Engage with functional business IT stakeholders to gather insights about current systems and processes. This will involve asking targeted questions to understand the nuances of existing workflows and technology usage.
- Documenting Business Processes: Create detailed documentation of current business processes and system usage. This documentation will serve as a reference for integration efforts and will help identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with SMEs and IT Teams: Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and internal IT teams to perform capability mapping. This collaboration will help in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of existing systems and processes.

- Participating in Meetings: Engage in meetings across multiple time zones, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed about the integration process. Your ability to communicate effectively will be key in these discussions.
- Facilitating System Integration and Retirement Planning: Assist in planning for the integration of systems and the retirement of obsolete technologies, ensuring a smooth transition for all stakeholders involved.
